건축에는 대부분 직선이 사용된다. 여러 가지 이유가 있다.
건축은 강해 보이지만, 그 안에는 엄청난 부드러움이 존재한다.
그 하나의 선을 찾는 일이 어쩌면 건축이다.
A Note from PNH
Architecture often appears through straight lines, shaped by practical and structural reasons. Yet a straight line is not simply hard or fixed. Within it, a quiet softness can hold a change of direction, a sense of distance, or the feeling of a place. This drawing begins from that contrast. The overlapping faces are not an explanation of a building; they are a way of looking for the one line that can carry both strength and softness. Perhaps finding that line is, in itself, architecture.
